Ocean Key Resort is a beach resort
hotel that sits across the street from the Boardwalk at 424 Atlantic
Avenue. The convenient location of the Ocean Keys Resort places the
visitor in a prime resort setting with watersports venues in every
direction. The resort also offers the advantage of being in a great
location to explore all the area has to offer via I-264. The attractions
of the Virginia Beach Pavilion and the GTE Virginia Beach Amphitheater
are just minutes away, plus several championship golf courses are
within a few minutes of the hotel. Only a few blocks south of I-264,
Ocean Key Resort is within easy access to all of Virginia Beach and
the Tidewater area.
Interstate access is from I-264. Less
than a mile and a half from our location.
The major north-south highway route
through eastern and central Virginia is I-95, which bisects I-64 at
Richmond. Take the eastern I-295 loop around Richmond exiting at I-64
east for the 105 mile trip to the oceanfront at Virginia Beach. In
Norfolk, take I-264 east for the last 12 1/2 miles to the oceanfront
and Atlantic Avenue. Turn right on Atlantic and proceed just over
1 mile south, the hotel will be on your right at 424 Atlantic Avenue.
A direct route from
the north into the area is the Chesapeake
Bay Bridge Tunnel via U. S. Rte 13 to Route 60,
(Shore Drive in Virginia Beach). Take Shore Drive
in an easterly direction for seven miles until
it merges into Atlantic Avenue at 82nd Street.
Proceed 5.5 miles south to Ocean Key Resort at
424 Atlantic Avenue. (Save 95 miles if driving
directly from the northeastern U.S. by taking
Route 13 off I-95, just south of Wilmington,
Delaware.)
